Job Overview

An established engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled Civil-Architectural Inspector to join a metro station enhancement project based in Dubai. This role focuses on ensuring high standards in architectural and civil works across large infrastructure developments. The budget for this position is set at 10,000 AED, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil-Architectural Inspector will be responsible for reviewing and inspecting various construction activities related to metro stations. This includes verifying architectural finishes, civil structures, and tunnel construction work to ensure full compliance with project specifications and metro safety standards. The candidate will also oversee QA/QC procedures and prepare thorough site reports to document inspections.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in architectural finishes, civil work, and structural inspection within large-scale transportation projects, ideally metro or rail systems.
• Knowledgeable in station and tunnel construction, including fire life safety codes and passenger flow design principles.
• Experienced in using technical drawings, specifications, and construction codes for effective inspection.
• Proficient with site inspection software and basic computer applications to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in civil or architectural inspection, preferably in metro, rail, or related large infrastructure projects.
