Job Overview

American International School is seeking an experienced KG1 Homeroom Teacher to join their team. This role requires a passionate educator dedicated to delivering quality early childhood education within a reputable institution following US or UK curricula.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young learners, implementing curriculum standards, and fostering each child’s development in line with school objectives. Maintaining effective communication with parents and collaborating with staff to support student progress is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, a mandatory requirement for KHDA approvals.
• Proven teaching experience within US or UK curriculum schools in the UAE.
• Must hold a valid teaching license or possess the necessary approvals to obtain one.
• IELTS score of 7.5 or equivalent proficiency in English.

Additional Requirements

Due to current geopolitical circumstances, preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the UAE to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
