Job Overview

Bloomington Academy in Ajman is seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Physical Education to lead our PE department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the British curriculum, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to inspiring excellence while fostering wellbeing among students.

Key Responsibilities

As the Head of PE, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical education program, promoting student engagement, and supporting the development of character and wellbeing. Candidates with leadership experience in either a Head of Department or deputy role will have the opportunity to take on additional academic or pastoral duties alongside PE.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience delivering the British curriculum in a physical education capacity.
• Proven leadership experience as a Head of Department or second in command within a PE department.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in physical education.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to upholding safeguarding standards, including having or willingness to obtain Level 1 Safeguarding Training.
