Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This role plays a crucial part in managing government relations, handling employee documentation, and ensuring compliance with UAE labour and immigration laws. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of UAE government processes, including visa management, labour contracts, and licensing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The PRO will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to UAE government departments. This includes processing employment visas, cancellations, and renewals, managing labour contracts and work permits, as well as handling Emirates ID applications and medical fitness requirements. Coordination with government authorities such as MOHRE, GDRFA, and ICP is essential. The role also involves maintaining precise records of employee documents and ensuring timely renewal of company licenses and compliance certificates. In addition, the PRO will support HR during employee onboarding and offboarding, providing expert guidance on labour and immigration regulations.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least three years of professional experience in a PRO role within the UAE. A strong understanding of UAE visa regulations, labour laws, and immigration processes is mandatory. Experience in navigating government portals and handling official documentation efficiently is highly valued. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow up proactively are required. A valid UAE driving license is preferred but not mandatory. The PRO must be capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks effectively, and prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines.
