Job Overview

A leading bank in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Risk Architect with extensive expertise in Banking IT and enterprise risk management. This role demands in-depth knowledge of credit, market, and operational risks along with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and Basel reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with key banking risk systems and the ability to design comprehensive risk data architectures.

Key Responsibilities

The Risk Architect will be responsible for identifying data gaps and mapping necessary attributes within FIS solutions, ensuring seamless integration of banking applications with Enterprise Fraud Management Systems like Clari5. Additionally, this role involves aligning risk data requirements with both regulatory standards such as IFRS9 and Basel, as well as internal MIS reporting needs. Mapping data flows across core banking platforms like T24, TI+, Eximbills, and Murex into risk management systems is also a critical aspect of the position.

Required Skills and Experience

• 12 to 15 years of experience focused on Banking IT within the enterprise risk domain.
• Extensive knowledge of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, and regulatory risk including Basel reporting.
• Practical experience implementing FIS solutions and familiarity with its data model.
• Expertise in integrating banking applications with Enterprise Fraud Management Systems such as Clari5.
• Strong understanding of risk data requirements for regulatory compliance (IFRS9, Basel) and internal MIS reporting.
• Experience working with core banking systems like T24, TI+, Eximbills, and Murex from a risk data perspective.
• Familiarity with risk management platforms including Moody’s RiskConfidence, Archer, FIS, and Clari5 is advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Visio, Excel, and Word for creating design diagrams and architectural documentation.
