Job Overview

Quantum Aluminum & Glass Industries is looking to hire an experienced Contract Quantity Surveyor to work on-site in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This role focuses on post-contract commercial management within the aluminium, glass, façade, curtain wall, doors, and windows sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with a focus on measurement, BOQ analysis, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for handling all post-contract commercial activities on site. This includes preparing interim payment applications, managing variations, and finalizing accounts. Coordination with various teams including project management, procurement, site operations, and production will be essential to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of contract documentation. The role also requires reviewing drawings and conducting quantity take-offs to support project progress.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in post-contract quantity surveying and site commercial works.
• Strong familiarity with aluminium, glass, and associated façade systems such as curtain walls, doors, and windows.
• Expertise in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), interpreting drawings, and performing accurate quantity take-offs.
• Knowledge in managing interim payment applications, contract variations, and final accounts.
• Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and report across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift is advantageous.
• Understanding of construction contracts, especially FIDIC, is preferred.
