Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Food & Beverage division in Qatar. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and collaborating with various departments to drive profitability and operational efficiency within the F&B sector.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will lead the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements specific to the Food & Beverage division. Managing budgets, monitoring cost variances, and conducting in-depth cost analyses are essential duties. This position also requires tracking daily sales, inventory levels, menu engineering outcomes, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to maintain financial health. The role includes handling month-end closing tasks such as reconciliations and accruals. Close coordination with Operations and Culinary teams is vital to support improved profitability and streamlined financial practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA are considered an advantage.
• At least five years of accounting experience, with a proven track record in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel finance is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of inventory control, POS systems, and ERP/accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting tasks.
• Excellent analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
