Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Junior Accountant to join our finance team within the dynamic Oil & Gas industry in the UAE. This role requires an individual with solid accounting experience, particularly in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and practices relevant to the UAE market, with immediate availability preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks that include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with financial statements and reports. Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team in ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations and standard accounting procedures will also be essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
• Expertise in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and generation of financial reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems
• Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and local accounting standards is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a commitment to accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

Experience specifically within the Oil & Gas sector will be considered a significant advantage due to the specialized nature of financial processes in this industry. Candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized.
