Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our team immediately. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented professional to manage the company’s financial records in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities

As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive books of accounts. This includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and managing accounts payable and receivable along with bank reconciliations. Your role will also involve supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities while ensuring proper documentation and internal controls of all financial transactions. You will coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants and assist management by providing financial reports and analysis as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and possess 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE. A strong understanding of IFRS standards and UAE VAT regulations is essential. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills are required. Accuracy, integrity, and keen attention to detail are crucial, alongside the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Experience working in accounting firms or multi-entity organizations is considered an advantage.
