We are seeking a skilled Accountant with proven experience in UAE accounting standards and proficient in Odoo Accounting software. This full-time position is ideal for candidates from the Philippines, India, or Sri Lanka who hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. The role is based in DIP-1, Dubai, UAE, offering a competitive salary reflective of experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, including invoicing, receipts, and payment processing. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining up-to-date financial records using Odoo. Additionally, the candidate will assist with VAT compliance and reporting, prepare financial statements, and support month-end closing activities while coordinating with various stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of two years UAE accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting software is essential
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and basic accounting regulations
• Proficient in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Expertise in bank reconciliation, invoicing, payments, and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with responsibility and accuracy
