Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant, open to both male and female candidates, to manage our company’s financial activities thoroughly. This role involves handling daily transaction records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for:

• Recording daily income and expenses accurately
• Preparing invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial statements
• Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Following up on outstanding payments from customers
• Producing monthly financial reports to keep management informed
• Reconciling bank and cash accounts regularly
• Managing petty cash and tracking company-related expenses
• Processing payroll, including salaries and employee advances
• Maintaining detailed VAT records and assisting with VAT filing procedures
• Monitoring income, expenses, and profitability by project
• Coordinating with auditors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth financial operations
• Ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software applications
• Knowledge of UAE VAT guidelines and basic local accounting requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks
