Azzurro Facilities Management Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This role focuses primarily on managing accounts payable functions to ensure accurate processing and timely payments. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting or Finance and possess practical experience in accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for processing and verifying supplier invoices, ensuring all relevant supporting documents like purchase orders and delivery receipts are in place. You will conduct invoice matching (2-way and 3-way), assign correct general ledger codes, and prepare payment batches including cheques and bank transfers. Collaborating with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies will be essential to maintain accuracy and ensure payments are processed promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 1 to 3 years of experience handling accounts payable processes
• Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills with fluency in English
