AccBooks Accounting & Bookkeeping LLC, a Dubai-based firm specializing in accounting and bookkeeping, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its expanding remote team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support UAE-based clients, focusing on accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will manage bookkeeping and accounting tasks for clients operating in the UAE. This includes performing bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations, preparing management reports and financial statements, and assisting with VAT and Corporate Tax compliance. Maintaining accurate accounting records and liaising closely with clients are essential aspects of the role.

Required Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates should be ACCA qualified, affiliates, part-qualified, or hold an equivalent accounting qualification. They are expected to bring 1-2 years of experience in accounting or auditing, with preference given to those who have worked in audit firms. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in MS Excel, and effective English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required. A willingness to learn UAE accounting standards, VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations is also necessary.

Work Environment and Benefits

This role is fully remote with working hours aligned to Pakistan Standard Time (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM). Candidates based in Rawalpindi or Islamabad are preferred, but remote arrangements allow for flexible location.
