Job Overview

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented HR Payroll Officer to join our team in Sharjah immediately. The ideal candidate will handle payroll processing efficiently while ensuring strict adherence to UAE Labour Law and company regulations. This role involves managing payroll administration, leave calculations, end-of-service benefits, and generating accurate payroll reports, all while maintaining confidentiality of employee information.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing monthly payroll including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, and incentives.
  • Reviewing and verifying attendance records, timesheets, and payroll inputs in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and addressing employee payroll inquiries promptly.
  • Calculating leave salary, leave encashment, and end-of-service benefits with precision.
  • Ensuring full compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies, supporting audit processes as needed.
  • Preparing payroll reports, salary certificates, employment letters, and other related documentation.
  • Providing payroll-related support to both HR and Finance teams and undertaking additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and payroll administration standards.
  • Proficiency with HRMS or payroll software and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities coupled with clear communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
