Join a leading Pipe & Steel Fabrication Division based in Sharjah, UAE. We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals for two key engineering roles: Production Engineer and Estimation Engineer. Both positions require candidates with a background in mechanical or civil engineering and relevant industry expertise.

Production Engineer Role

The Production Engineer will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the pipe and steel fabrication processes. This position demands a strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and manpower allocation to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee pipe and steel fabrication activities.
• Coordinate manpower and resources to meet production targets.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
• Interpret and work with fabrication drawings effectively.
• Improve workflow to enhance productivity while maintaining safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in pipe and steel fabrication environments.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling and quality control procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical fabrication drawings.
• Prior experience working in the UAE is an advantage.

Estimation Engineer Role

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost-effective and accurate quotations related to pipe, steel, and structural fabrication projects. A detailed understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, and cost analysis is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ).
• Calculate material, labor, and fabrication costs for quotations.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Contribute to bidding strategies with thorough cost assessments.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in estimation for pipe fabrication, steel fabrication, and structural work.
• Strong skills in BOQ preparation and cost calculations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documents.
• Experience within the UAE or wider GCC region is preferred.
