Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design and Estimation Engineer to join a leading Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) company based in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil or structural engineering, with proven expertise in steel design and estimation within the PEB industry. This role demands proficiency with structural analysis software and familiarity with international design codes to support project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations and prepare structural drawings for PEB steel components.
• Develop accurate cost estimations based on design requirements and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client expectations and comply with engineering standards.
• Apply engineering principles using relevant software such as MBS and STAAD Pro to optimize design efficiency.
• Stay updated on international codes and standards to ensure structural integrity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience focusing on PEB steel design and cost estimation.
• Proven track record working with reputable PEB organizations.
• Strong command of MBS and STAAD Pro software tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international codes including AISC, MBMA, IBC, and AISI.
• Familiarity with Eurocode and British Standards is advantageous.
