Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with extensive experience in building construction to join a prominent project in Sharjah. This role demands strong technical expertise and leadership to manage construction projects effectively from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil execution activities, ensuring structural coordination, and supervising finishing works. They will also handle MEP coordination, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems integration, to maintain seamless project progress.

Additional duties include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals. The Project Engineer will coordinate with UAE government authorities for all necessary approvals and permits. Strong site supervision and subcontractor management are essential, as well as ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven skills in civil execution, RCC work, and structural coordination
• Expertise in MEP coordination for building projects
• Competency in project planning and scheduling using Primavera or MS Project
• Familiarity with UAE government approvals such as Municipality, Civil Defence, and SEWA
• Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings, method statements, and related documents
• Understanding of quantity take-off and basic commercial aspects
• Experienced in site supervision and managing subcontractors effectively

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of building construction experience within the UAE market
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects through all stages from execution to handover
• Availability for immediate joining is highly preferred
• Work location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
