Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to join our team in Sharjah, focusing on the homeware category. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with 2 to 4 years of experience in buying or procurement, particularly within homeware, décor, or furniture retail. The successful candidate will support sourcing, procurement, and product range development, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Buyer will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships and product flow. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting product sourcing and expanding the product range to meet market demands
• Coordinating with suppliers concerning pricing negotiations, sample approval, and delivery schedules
• Preparing purchase orders and ensuring timely follow-up to meet inventory needs
• Monitoring sales trends, stock levels, and overall product performance
• Conducting pricing analysis and competitor research to inform purchasing decisions
• Collaborating with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to align buying strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or a related field. Ideal applicants will possess:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in buying or procurement roles
• Prior exposure to homeware, décor, or furniture retail is highly preferred
• Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is advantageous
• Good commercial awareness with an interest in the latest interior design and home trends

Benefits and Work Environment
