Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE. This role is ideal for professionals who are confident in managing accounting functions along with tax-related responsibilities, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and Excise Tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting tasks ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE financial regulations.
• Prepare and maintain financial records using accounting software, particularly Tally and Microsoft Excel.
• Handle VAT, Corporate Tax, and Excise Tax filings in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines.
• Perform regular reconciliations and reports to support financial audits and internal controls.
• Maintain thorough attention to detail to deliver precise and timely financial information.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in the UAE.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and familiarity with Tally accounting software.
• Strong understanding of UAE taxation laws, especially related to VAT, Corporate Tax, and Excise Tax.
• Ability to work independently, managing both accounting and taxation duties effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

Male candidates are preferred for this position. Experience in a similar sector or company operating within Sharjah or the broader UAE is advantageous.
