Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee the strategic procurement of industrial materials, spare parts, and engineering solutions based in Riyadh/Al Kharj. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and purchase order processing while ensuring optimal inventory control. You will also lead a procurement team, guaranteeing an efficient, cost-effective, and quality-driven supply chain that supports the company’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Purchasing Manager will handle a wide range of duties, including:

• Developing and managing supplier partnerships to secure the best terms and reliable supply.
• Negotiating contracts and prices to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Overseeing purchase order approvals and tracking deliveries to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinating inventory and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Leading and mentoring the procurement team to enhance performance and maintain efficient workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should bring the following qualifications and expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in procurement with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven background working in industrial, engineering, food, petrochemical, or steel industries is highly valued.
• Strong negotiation skills and proficiency with ERP systems to streamline purchasing processes.
• Excellent leadership abilities to guide teams effectively and foster collaboration.
• Professional certifications like CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are considered advantageous.
