Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Quality Control Supervisor to join a high-profile Saudi Aramco project. This role requires a dedicated professional with extensive knowledge in quality control within procurement processes, specifically in oil, gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, and communication sectors. The position is based in Ningbo, China, with a contract duration of 16 months starting June 2025.
Key Responsibilities
The supervisor will be responsible for reviewing material requests, purchase orders, and inspection-related documentation to ensure strict compliance with Aramco quality standards. This includes preparing inspection assignment packages, coordinating in-process and final inspections, and managing vendor meetings.
Additional duties involve reviewing vendor inspection and test plans, monitoring procurement inspection progress, assessing sub-vendor lists, and overseeing third-party inspection (TPI) reports. The role requires the appraisal of product quality against purchase requisitions, technical specifications, and quality plans, ensuring timely submission of deliverables such as inspection reports and manufacturing data books.
The incumbent will evaluate subcontractors’ and vendors’ capability to meet quality requirements, identify quality risks, and propose corrective or preventive action plans. Coordination with all project teams, adherence to quality policies, and effective documentation of lessons learned are essential parts of the job. The supervisor will also assist procurement teams during bidding phases and facilitate quality training and inductions for project personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A university degree with at least seven years of inspection experience, including three years in supervising vendor inspection activities related to oil, gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, or communication projects; or a high school diploma with ten years of relevant inspection experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Aramco quality standards and procedures in material procurement.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment abilities related to procurement quality inspections.
- Proven experience in preparing inspection documentation and reports compliant with project requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate between vendors, subcontractors, and project teams effectively.

The position requires mobilization to Ningbo, China, with an expected working period from June 2025 to September 2026.
