Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Engineer will oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for project materials and equipment. Key duties include preparing and processing purchase orders aligned with project specifications, sourcing suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Close coordination with engineering, project management, and site teams is essential to fulfill material requirements effectively. Additionally, the role involves tracking orders to guarantee on-time delivery and maintaining thorough procurement documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience working in procurement, preferably within the construction sector or on project-driven assignments. Strong negotiation abilities and supplier management expertise are crucial. Candidates must be proficient in handling purchase orders and coordinating material supply chains to fulfill project needs. Familiarity with procurement software and general computer applications is also required to streamline procurement processes.
