Job Overview

We are actively looking for experienced Winch Operators to join our offshore team operating on derrick crane barges. This role is critical for supporting lifting operations and ensuring the safe handling of offshore equipment. Both local transfers and overseas candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Winch Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating winches on offshore derrick crane barges. Duties include inspecting winch equipment, cables, and related machinery to detect any signs of wear or damage. The operator must work closely with crane operators and deck crew during lifting tasks to maintain effective communication and coordination, ensuring safety protocols are upheld at all times. A thorough understanding of winch systems, mechanisms, and wiring is essential for this position.

Requirements

• At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating winches offshore
• Prior experience on crane barges is highly preferred
• Male candidates only
• Proficient in English language communication
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety standards and practices

Work Schedule and Conditions

This role involves working 12-hour shifts on a rotational basis covering both day and night shifts. The shift breakdown includes 8 hours of active duty, 1-hour break, and 3 hours overtime. The typical month consists of 26 regular working days plus 4 additional Fridays as overtime.

Salary and Benefits

The total monthly compensation ranges between SAR 2,800 and SAR 3,000. This package includes a basic salary of SAR 1,500 and overtime pay ranging from SAR 1,200 to SAR 1,500. Employees are entitled to 21 days of annual leave, which includes an air ticket. The company provides a valid work visa and insurance coverage for all offshore staff.
