Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Quarry Driller with a minimum of five years’ experience in operating rock drilling machinery. This role requires handling drilling equipment efficiently to create blasting holes at designated locations within a limestone quarry. The position is open to Saudi nationals who can ensure that drilling tasks are completed according to specified inclinations and depths provided by the Foreman, Quarry Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate rock drilling machines at optimum capacity to drill blasting holes as per instructions.
• Accurately follow the outlined drilling patterns and depths indicated by the supervisory team.
• Identify and troubleshoot any disruptions or malfunctions in the drilling machine or its associated equipment.
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments on machinery where within the scope of your expertise.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards throughout the drilling process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar drilling operation role, preferably in a quarry environment.
• Completion of high school education or a relevant diploma (9 years of education preferred).
• Ability to understand technical instructions and drilling specifications thoroughly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for identifying equipment issues and performing routine fixes.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with foremen and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from 6,000 SAR to 9,000 SAR, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits and work conditions will be discussed during the hiring process.
