Job Overview

KMM is currently seeking skilled mechanical professionals specialized in gas turbine and steam turbine maintenance for shutdown and outage projects in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires hands-on expertise with large turbines, focusing on mechanical outages and detailed inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Candidates will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and maintenance work on gas and steam turbines during scheduled outages. This includes combustion and hot gas path inspections for gas turbines, as well as steam piping and valve servicing for steam turbines. The role also involves turbine alignment, runout checks, coupling adjustments, and supporting heavy lifts using hydraulic tools. Precision measurement using specialized tools and handling bolt removal with various heating techniques are essential parts of the job.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3–5 years of direct experience with large gas turbines or steam turbines during shutdowns or outages
• Proficiency with combustion inspections, hot gas path checks, steam piping, and valves depending on specialization
• Skilled in turbine alignment, runout checks, and couplings
• Experienced in using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and feeler gauges
• Comfortable operating hydraulic tools like ITH and HYTORC, as well as oxy-acetylene and resistance heating for bolt removal and assembly
• Background working with OEMs or their contractors, including brands such as GE, Siemens, Dresser-Rand, Mitsubishi, Elliott, MAN Turbo, Caterpillar, or Rolls-Royce

Additional Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate practical outage maintenance skills with turbines. Submissions focused solely on plant operations, office roles, routine maintenance, or reliability without outage experience will not be considered.
