Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join the ESOM Project team based in Maaden Al Baitha, Qassim Region. This full-time, on-site position involves providing comprehensive technical support for a range of devices including desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and IPTV systems within an industrial environment. The role demands hands-on involvement with hardware and software installations, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and delivering user assistance to keep the IT infrastructure running smoothly across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective technical support and troubleshoot issues within Windows operating systems.
• Manage and maintain internet connectivity along with IPTV and IP phone services throughout over 250 rooms.
• Perform hardware repairs and servicing, including printer maintenance and replacement of computer components.
• Set up and support IPTV and IP phone systems in line with project needs.
• Handle network-related tasks such as working with TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, DNS, network cabling, patch panels, and cable identification.
• Participate in incident management to ensure prompt resolution of technical problems.
• Work collaboratively with team members while providing excellent customer support to end-users on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT technical support and troubleshooting within corporate or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network cabling and IT hardware infrastructure.
• Knowledge of IPTV systems and IP phone installation and maintenance.
• Competence in supporting and maintaining printers and computer hardware.
• Effective communication skills, including fluent and clear English language proficiency.
• Possession of a diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

Additional Information

This role offers a robust benefits package including accommodation, transportation, two meals daily, laundry services, and internet access. Candidates need to be comfortable living in a remote desert location and be willing to relocate to Maaden Al Baitha, Buraidah in the Qassim Region.
