Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Engineer with specific expertise in telecommunications to join our team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical and electrical (M&E) works during project implementation, ensuring effective communication, supervision, and technical coordination on site.
Key Responsibilities
The primary role involves managing and supervising the on-site M&E construction activities, coordinating with the project owner and related stakeholders, and resolving technical challenges promptly. The engineer will review drawings, monitor construction quality, and ensure compliance with project specifications and local standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in M&E construction or project management, including at least 5 years handling projects of similar scale.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with owners, contractors, and utilities such as MARAFIQ.
- Strong familiarity with electrical, communication, and both strong and weak current systems, along with supporting equipment.
- Proficient in reviewing technical drawings and capable of swiftly addressing technical issues during design and construction phases.
- Knowledgeable about local Saudi Arabian regulations, technical standards, and relevant international guidelines.
- Good command of English for clear and efficient communication.
- Professional ethics, strong responsibility, and teamwork orientation.
Additional Requirements
The ideal candidate must currently reside in Saudi Arabia and be available for immediate joining. Holding valid professional qualification certificates recognized in the Jizan region is preferred. This position is freelance, and candidates must successfully pass the RC interview process.
