Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welding Quality Control Inspector with a minimum of 8 years of experience for a six-month project based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This is an urgent requirement for a non-Aramco welding QCI, emphasizing expertise in mechanical quality control and non-destructive testing.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing welding quality activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Core duties include inspecting welding procedures, verifying welder qualifications, and monitoring staff performing welding tasks. The role involves coordinating with FAT inspections within the candidate’s scope of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Mechanical Quality Control
- Certified NDT Level 2, with proficiency in Radiographic Testing (RT)
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards
- In-depth understanding of welding procedures and welder qualification processes
- Ability to assess and supervise welding operations effectively
