Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Work Permit Receiver (WPR) to join an on-site, full-time position based in Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in ensuring workplace safety by managing and monitoring permits and adherence to regulatory standards throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle several critical safety-related tasks including:

  • Receiving, reviewing, and accepting work permits issued on site
  • Ensuring any necessary amendments to permits are properly documented and communicated
  • Monitoring ongoing jobs for any changes in conditions that could affect safety
  • Conducting Toolbox Talks (TBT) to brief teams on safety practices
  • Implementing and overseeing safety control measures at the workplace
  • Verifying gas testing results to maintain safe working environments
  • Communicating potential hazards and control procedures clearly to all crew members
  • Enforcing site safety protocols and procedures rigorously
  • Verifying Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) processes to ensure equipment isolation
  • Confirming appropriate isolation of equipment prior to work commencement
  • Checking controls for confined space entries
  • Overseeing safety measures related to excavation, hot work, and work conducted at heights
  • Ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant Technical Diploma is preferred
  • A valid Aramco Work Permit Receiver certification is highly desirable
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management
  • Good understanding of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), LOTO procedures, confined space entry, and hot work safety standards
