Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Inspector to ensure that products, materials, and construction activities meet stringent quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves performing thorough inspections, interpreting blueprints, documenting findings, and ensuring non-conforming items are properly addressed. The position is based in Al Muwayh, Taif Region, with a project duration of 4 to 6 months, extendable based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
The QA/QC Inspector will be tasked with inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and final products to confirm compliance with established quality criteria. You will use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers during inspections. Additionally, you will review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to verify accuracy during production or construction phases.
Accurate documentation is essential, as you will maintain detailed inspection records, test data, and non-conformance reports. Identifying defects and supporting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence are important parts of this role. You will also ensure that all inspection tools are calibrated and adhere to safety regulations such as GMP or ISO standards. Specific project activities may include witnessing welding tests, monitoring concrete pouring, and verifying the quality of structural and electrical materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in Saudi Arabia’s construction, oil & gas, or fit-out industries, with a solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and Aramco standards. A degree in mechanical, civil, electrical engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector will be highly valued.
Key skills include strong technical proficiency in reading blueprints and using inspection tools or software, exceptional attention to detail, clear communication abilities to report quality issues effectively, and analytical skills to investigate and resolve defects efficiently.
