Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled freelance MEP Engineer to join our team for a project based in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with a proven track record of managing on-site construction. Key Responsibilities

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the LV/MV/TC construction work, ensuring that all activities meet quality standards and project timelines. Duties include reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, calculating material quantities, providing expert recommendations, and coordinating with various teams to solve technical challenges effectively.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in MEP construction or project management
• At least 5 years experience working on projects of similar scale and complexity
• Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design review
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, communication networks, and both strong and weak current systems
• Capable of reviewing drawings and resolving design and construction issues promptly
• Familiarity with Saudi local regulations, technical standards, and relevant international codes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills combined with a solid professional work ethic

Requirements

• Valid professional qualification certificates recognized within the Jizan region are preferred
• Ability to pass the Saudi RC interview
• Must be currently based in Saudi Arabia and available to work on a freelance basis for the project duration
