A reputable client in Saudi Arabia is urgently seeking a skilled Mechanical Superintendent to oversee mechanical construction, installation, and maintenance activities within the oil and gas sector. This role demands a professional who can ensure that all mechanical operations are carried out safely, on schedule, and aligned with project requirements as well as industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be in charge of supervising day-to-day mechanical site operations, including piping, static and rotating equipment, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering teams, QA/QC departments, and other disciplines to facilitate seamless project progress. The Mechanical Superintendent will enforce health, safety, and environmental guidelines, manage manpower and subcontractors, and submit regular status reports to track project milestones. Additionally, the role involves supporting testing, pre-commissioning, and final handover processes to ensure quality and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Eight to fifteen years of hands-on experience in oil and gas projects, including EPC, refinery, or petrochemical environments
• In-depth understanding of mechanical systems such as piping, HVAC, and rotating equipment
• Familiarity with industry standards including ASME, API, and HSE regulations
• Proven leadership ability with strong site supervision expertise

Work Environment
