Job Overview

We are currently looking for a dedicated Low Current Engineer to join our team in Jubail on a full-time, on-site basis. This role suits professionals with substantial experience in contracting, particularly focused on the design, installation, and commissioning of low current systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, ensuring flawless execution in line with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The Low Current Engineer will oversee the comprehensive management of low current installations. Primary duties include reviewing and analyzing technical drawings, coordinating closely with site teams and subcontractors, and supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address systems, and structured cabling. The role also involves troubleshooting system issues, facilitating integration, and guaranteeing projects meet scheduled delivery times.

Additionally, the engineer will collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and MEP divisions, to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience in low current systems within the contracting or construction sector
  • Strong expertise in ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling
  • Hands-on experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of low current equipment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards and local regulations governing ELV systems
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities
