We are working with a distinguished Engineering and Project Management firm in Saudi Arabia to recruit for several long-term Design Engineering roles. Candidates with extensive experience in major Oil and Gas projects, especially those familiar with Front End Engineering Design (FEED), are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in downstream operations including refined fuels and petrochemical production, and who possess recent experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards.
Key Responsibilities and Positions Available
The company seeks to fill various specialist roles across disciplines, each requiring relevant technical expertise and strong familiarity with Aramco standards (SAEP, SAMS, SAE). Open positions include:
- Senior Project Engineer – Control System: Electronics degree required, focusing on control systems design within downstream operations.
- Process Engineers – Running Plant: Chemical Engineering degree needed, with expertise in refinery operations such as SRU, sour gas treatment, distillation, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Lead Discipline Engineer – Civil/Structural: Civil Engineering background with deep knowledge of refinery and Aramco standards.
- Senior Project Engineer – Electrical: Electronics degree with robust Aramco project experience.
- Senior Project Engineer – Interface Piping: Piping Engineering qualification with skills in interface coordination and design.
- Senior Process Engineer: Chemical Engineering degree with over 15 years of experience, specialized in Sulfur Recovery Units, utilities, and design engineering reviews.
- Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical Piping: Piping Engineering background focusing on refinery mechanical piping design and Aramco projects.
- Secretary: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, requiring proficiency in SAP software.
- Senior Project Engineer – Instrument: Electronics degree with strong design engineering experience aligned with Aramco standards.
- Electrical Engineer: Electronics degree with 5 to 7+ years in the refinery sector, experienced in Aramco project designs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline for technical roles.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas refinery projects, with a few roles requiring at least 5 years.
- Comprehensive understanding of downstream processes and operations related to refined fuels and petrochemicals.
- Proven track record working on Saudi Aramco projects and abiding by its engineering standards.
- Strong design engineering and project execution experience.
- Ability to join the role within a reasonable notice period.
- For the Secretary role, experience with SAP software is mandatory.
