Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ASNT Level II Eddy Current Testing (ET) trainer to conduct a comprehensive training program focused on practical, hands-on learning. This role demands expertise in Eddy Current Testing methodologies, especially using automatic eddy current machines. The trainer will deliver in-depth instruction covering fundamental principles and advanced applications of ET, with an emphasis on real equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties for this position include providing detailed training on the following areas:

• Understanding the core principles of Eddy Current Testing
• Calibrating equipment with appropriate probes and frequencies
• Detecting surface and near-surface cracks in aircraft components, tubes, and welds
• Identifying corrosion and material thinning in non-magnetic materials
• Classifying materials based on conductivity and permeability
• Preparing clear inspection instructions and test reports
• Evaluating the suitability of ET for different materials and inspection methods
• Selecting suitable probes for welded butt joints in steel plates, pipes, and aerospace components
• Reporting defect location and size accurately in welded joints
• Interpreting and analyzing results according to international standards and codes

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Certification as an ASNT Level II Eddy Current Testing trainer
• Proven ability to deliver hands-on, equipment-based training sessions
• Expertise in aerospace and weld inspection through ET methods
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and generate clear reports
