Saleh Al Rajhi Partners Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Safety Engineer to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on developing and enforcing effective health and safety policies to ensure a secure and compliant workplace environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in safety engineering or health, safety, and environment (HSE) roles, exhibiting a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Engineer will play a vital role in identifying hazards and mitigating risks. Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and continuously monitoring health and safety policies aligned with company standards and regulations.
• Performing thorough risk assessments to detect potential workplace dangers.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety standards, legal requirements, and internal policies.
• Investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, compiling detailed reports to prevent future occurrences.
• Delivering safety training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees and promote a culture of safety.
• Conducting inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Managing emergency preparedness, including fire safety protocols and evacuation drills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to individuals holding certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent credentials. A minimum of six years’ experience in safety engineering or HSE positions is essential to handle the demanding aspects of this role effectively.
