Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in oil and gas, pipeline, plant, or industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reviewing engineering drawings and supervising mechanical construction activities to ensure project success. This role involves collaboration across multiple disciplines to support every phase from construction to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and technical requirements
• Oversee mechanical construction including equipment installation, piping, structural supports, and testing activities
• Work closely with construction, QA/QC, procurement, and planning teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare material take-offs, technical queries, method statements, and detailed progress reports
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and the final handover of projects
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within quality standards

Required Skills

• Proficient in reviewing complex mechanical engineering documentation
• Strong supervisory and project coordination abilities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Plant, or Industrial Construction projects
