Job Overview

A leading construction company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specialized in government building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and site management, with expertise in HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage systems. This role demands proficiency in relevant engineering software and a thorough understanding of industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical systems for various construction projects to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and approve detailed shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with design teams, site execution staff, and consultants to coordinate mechanical works.
• Oversee mechanical installations on-site, verify compliance with approved drawings, and ensure quality standards are met.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience working on government building projects.
• Strong expertise in designing HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and other relevant engineering software tools.
• Ability to prepare, review and approve shop drawings effectively.
• Good knowledge of engineering codes and industry standards.
• Excellent technical reporting, problem-solving skills, and site management capabilities.
