Key Responsibilities

The successful Mechanical Engineer will lead mechanical system design and verification throughout the project duration. Duties involve preparing and approving detailed shop drawings, collaborating closely with design teams, contractors, and consultants, and overseeing all mechanical site operations to uphold quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience working on government construction projects
• Expertise in designing HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage systems
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and related tools
• Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and approving shop drawings with attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of applicable engineering codes, standards, and best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve technical challenges effectively
• Experience in technical report writing and documentation
• Proven leadership in managing site operations and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
