Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Discipline Engineer specializing in Instrument Control System Design to join a prestigious EPC project in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires extensive expertise in the oil and gas refineries sector, especially with Saudi Aramco projects, focusing on Pre-FEED and FEED phases.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead design engineering efforts related to instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards. Responsibilities include DCS I/O assignments, marshaling cabinet wiring, signal configuration, and developing PLC programming, SCADA, and HMI applications. The role demands proficiency with Yokogawa CENTUM VP, ProSafe-RS, Plant Resource Manager, and related industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control System Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working on Pre-FEED and FEED stages for Saudi Aramco refinery projects.
- Proficient with DCS systems and tools, especially Yokogawa CENTUM VP and ProSafe-RS.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and software development for PLC, SCADA, and HMI environments.
- Hands-on experience with I/O assignment, signal wiring, and marshaling cabinets in complex control systems.
- Thorough understanding of Saudi Aramco standards (SAEP, SAMS, SAES) and EPC project requirements.
- Reliable with a minimum 30-day notice period.
Work Environment and Contract Details
The position is located in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, offering a one-year contract with the possibility of extension based on project needs. The role is embedded within a dynamic EPC engineering environment supporting major oil and gas facilities.
