Job Overview

We are urgently seeking skilled electricians to join a reputable client’s team in Saudi Arabia. This role demands hands-on experience in Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) cable termination and related electrical works. If you possess the required qualifications and experience, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant electrical projects involving 13.8 kV and 33 kV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MV and LV cable termination and jointing according to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards.
• Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and electrical testing to ensure system integrity.
• Interpret and work from electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Handle switchgear, Ring Main Units (RMUs), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and transformer installations and maintenance.
• Manage cable scheduling and coordinate with the engineering team to ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years’ experience with MV/LV cable termination and related electrical tasks.
• Proven expertise working with 13.8 kV and 33 kV electrical systems.
• Possession of an SEC-approved cable termination certificate is essential.
• Strong knowledge of SEC standards for cable termination and jointing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience with equipment such as RMUs, Switchgear, GIS, and Transformers.
• Must be proficient in operating a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

Work Environment

The role involves fieldwork on various electrical infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. Candidates should be prepared for on-site assignments that may require travel within the region and adherence to safety protocols.
