Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Drilling Engineer specializing in Well Control (WCD) to join a respected client in the oil and gas sector. This position is based in Dhahran and welcomes applicants of any nationality who meet the required qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing drilling operations with a strong focus on well control. This includes collaborating closely with well control service providers, equipment suppliers, and drilling and workover companies to ensure safety and efficiency during drilling processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field within the oil and gas industry.
• Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in drilling engineering or well control operations.
• Proven background working alongside well control service companies and providers of well control equipment.
• Familiarity with drilling and workover company practices and protocols.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards important for drilling and well control.

Certifications and Qualifications

Candidates must hold certifications aligned with industry standards such as ISO 9001, API standards, and QMS documentation. Preferred additional qualifications include Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent credentials related to quality assurance and well control services.
