Job Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified Cost Control Engineer to join a dynamic project team. This role focuses on managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial discipline in line with project goals and company policies. The position is exclusively open to Arab nationals as per regulatory and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts. Accurate tracking of project expenditures and detailed analysis of cost variances will be essential. The engineer will also generate cost reports, progress valuations, and management dashboards to support decision-making.

Collaboration with project management, procurement, and finance departments is crucial for seamless cost control operations. The role involves reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), variation orders, and claims from a cost perspective, ensuring all financial activities comply with internal audits and regulatory standards. Additionally, providing cost control input throughout project planning and execution phases will be expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in cost control within construction or EPC projects.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, cost reporting, and project financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Open only to Arab nationals in compliance with project and local regulations.
