Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Machine Operator to join our engineering team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with CNC laser cutting machines, particularly using CYPCUT controllers, and possess a strong mechanical background. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating the laser cutting machines to manufacture precise sheet metal components according to technical specifications. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

The CNC Laser Machine Operator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure efficient and accurate production. Core duties include machine setup and operation, loading and unloading materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, as well as adjusting cutting parameters to suit different materials and thicknesses.

• Operate and configure CNC laser cutters using CYPCUT controllers.
• Load materials onto the laser bed and manage unloading after cutting.
• Set cutting speeds, power levels, and gas pressures tailored to the job requirements.
• Align and calibrate laser optics, nozzles, and cutting equipment to maintain precision.
• Import and modify part programs via CNC controller or CAD/CAM software.
• Optimize cutting paths and nesting layouts for material efficiency.
• Perform test runs to validate program accuracy before full production.
• Inspect finished products with measuring tools, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Identify and fix issues such as burrs, dross, or incomplete cuts to uphold quality standards.
• Assist in routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine problems to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
• Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
• Completed mechanical training or relevant mechanical course.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Proficient in using measurement tools like calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with CYPCUT controllers and CAD/CAM software for programming.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
