Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team for the ongoing Turaif Project in Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing civil, building, and architectural work on a dynamic construction site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management and quantity surveying, with the ability to ensure smooth project execution aligned with quality and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will prepare accurate quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and specifications, coordinate daily site activities, and monitor work progress to prevent delays. Managing material, manpower, and equipment resources effectively to stay on schedule is essential. You will also be responsible for supervising site operations, liaising closely with clients and consultants, and addressing any onsite issues promptly.

Additional duties include tracking manpower productivity, controlling operational costs, and ensuring daily progress aligns with project plans and budget requirements. Comprehensive daily reports outlining manpower, equipment usage, and progress will need to be submitted. Regular updates to the Head Office on project status and performance will be expected, along with the preparation of monthly progress measurements and handling client approvals for invoicing purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in site management within building and construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quantity take-offs, and site coordination.
• Proven ability to devise work schedules and monitor team productivity effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in preparing detailed reports.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and consultants to resolve site-related issues swiftly.
