Job Overview

High Links Group is seeking a skilled BIM Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional with 5 to 10 years of construction project experience, specializing in the development and management of BIM models for mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background and expertise in BIM-related software and processes.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, firefighting, and plumbing. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams is essential for effective clash detection and resolution. Additional duties involve preparing and reviewing shop drawings and detailed BIM models, ensuring compliance with project standards and LOD requirements, participating in coordination meetings, extracting quantities, and generating reports. Supporting the site team with as-built models and maintaining BIM data integrity and version control are also central to this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes, standards, and workflows.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, firefighting, and plumbing.
• Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
• Understanding of international standards and project specifications.
• Ability to maintain data integrity and manage version control effectively.
