Key Responsibilities

The Associate Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing and analyzing project costs, ensuring efficient budget control, and supporting financial planning throughout various stages of engineering and construction projects. Candidates should be familiar with construction practices, materials, and equipment to provide precise cost estimates and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cost engineering, with at least 1 year in sectors such as petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or power generation projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to evaluate project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree is required in one of the following fields: Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting. Candidates without an engineering degree must have at least 5 years of cost engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates holding degrees directly related to engineering disciplines or those with comprehensive project management knowledge will be strongly considered. Familiarity with specialized cost management software is a plus.
