Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for creating, advising, and supporting the roll-out of all project control policies, plans, and procedures. Evaluating the effects of design or construction changes and schedule delays on projects will be a core part of your duties. Managing program budgets and cash flow, handling project and program-level estimates, and ensuring accurate scheduling reports for management are key tasks. You will oversee the development and maintenance of a hierarchical system for plans and schedules, keeping all management levels well informed.

Furthermore, this role includes coordinating staffing needs, assigning and supervising project activities, and providing training to teams. Conducting performance reviews and fostering personnel development within your team is also essential. The position involves managing project control systems tailored to specific project needs, generating statistical and custom reports for management, and overseeing document control processes and teams.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. You should have at least 20 years of relevant experience, including considerable supervisory or managerial roles in large-scale development projects. A basic understanding of engineering principles in electrical, mechanical, or civil fields is necessary.

Strong expertise in capital development analytics combined with thorough knowledge of project control standards, tools, and techniques is essential. Proficiency in project controls software such as Primavera P6 and Unifier is highly desirable to effectively manage project schedules and budgets.
