We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to become an integral part of our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing procurement processes, preferably within construction, engineering, or project environments. This role demands strong negotiation abilities, supplier relationship management, and excellent coordination skills to ensure smooth purchasing operations aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing purchasing activities including sourcing suppliers, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Maintaining positive supplier relations and coordinating with internal teams to meet project requirements are essential aspects of the role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project procurement
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and familiar with procurement software systems
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Saudi work visa (Iqama) is preferred for immediate joining
