Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide on-site service and customer support across various field visits and dispatches. This role involves handling installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance. The technician will diagnose technical issues and identify effective solutions while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for attending site calls as directed by supervisors and ensuring that all work is performed with proper safety measures in place. Key duties include bypassing valves from the line and verifying valid work permits, reporting unsafe conditions to site managers, and completing thorough site inspection reports.

Additional tasks involve assembling valves and actuators following standard operating procedures, using various hand tools and testing equipment, performing equipment change-overs, and maintaining valve quality by making necessary adjustments or rejecting products outside specifications.

Operational compliance is critical, including verifying heat codes against assembly parts, signing off on assembly travelers, and inspecting accessories against specifications. The technician must protect components properly and operate forklifts as needed to manage material flow in production areas.

Preventive maintenance on production machinery, collaboration with operators, maintaining a clean work environment, locking out equipment when not in use, assisting machinists with repairs, and adhering to safety, health, and environmental policies complete the scope of work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or industrial degree, preferably with an electrical background.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in electrical product manufacturing, service industries, or working with Limitorque products.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for valve and actuator assembly and testing.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use appropriate safety tools consistently.
• Proficiency using manual, electric, and air wrenches, torque wrenches, hoists, scissor tables, and testing equipment.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and report deviations promptly.
• Forklift operation experience is desirable for supporting production logistics.

Work Environment and Travel

This full-time position is based in Abahsain, Saudi Arabia, with approximately 15% travel expected to support site visits. The role demands maintaining high standards of workplace safety, cleanliness, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes.
